1) dash [by Anonymous Citizen on March 7, 2008] Why 'exempt' these entities from paying insurance premiums tax?
Already, General Assembly has exempted, provided deferrals, given prefrential tax rate treatment of an estimated $750 million that annually siphons more needed tax dollars for other benefit and services and now Ky needs over $500 million new revenue it does not have just to stay even! Irresponsible actions like this one pushed by Mr. Moberly who chairs Ky House Appropriations & Revenue Committee---the committee that controls the state's purse strings---is one reason state's financial condition is so vulnerable! This legislation adds to state's financial vulnerability! Do not pass it!
