Most local Health Departments have NO properly trained personnel to deal with contaminated meth lab locations. A few years ago the Louisville/Jefferson County Health Department had developed plans to deal with chemical emergencies. These plans were extremely poor and contained procedures which were in violation of several KY OSHA regulations and could have resulted in the death or serious injury of responders to any chemical release type emergency. Handling a meth lab location cleanup requires following several OSHA regulations to be done properly and the Health Departments have no idea about these regulations so they SHOULD NOT BE INVOLVED!! Your bill WILL get people injured and/or killed!!!
